Back in spring, Microsoft introduced a new range of wireless controllers. Dubbed the Tech series, they were inspired by military technology and "performance patterns found in combat vehicles". The first of these controllers was the Recon Tech, and this was followed by the Patrol Tech controller in autumn. Now Microsoft has announced the third controller to be released in the series: Combat Tech Special Edition.
The third controller in the series will have a classic Military Green colour, as well as orange accents and military insignia. There will be rubberized diamond grips on the rear of the controller, while the front will get a textured laser-etched grip. Like all of their controllers, it is compatible with the Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X consoles, as well as including the bluetooth technology needed for use on Windows 10 PCs and tablets.
The controller will be released on March 27th.
